Right off the train on Main Street, you’ll find art gallery-meets-antique shop, Downtown Gallery. This gallery features paintings from local artists, and the antique shop offers a range of collectibles that are constantly changing, so you never know what you’ll find.

Cathryn's Tuscan Grill

For Italian food lovers and brunch fanatics, Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill is the place to be. Though this spot is a little pricier, their authentic food and wine options are worth it. Try their squid ink linguine with shrimp, or rigatoni in brandied cream sauce, and dine in the garden when the weather is nice.

If you’re getting off the train and need of a pick-me-up, head to Cupoccino Café. This spot is Cold Spring’s best coffee shop, with excellent breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Look out for the mural of the Hudson on their wall, and come back for local homemade ice cream after dinner.

West Point Foundry Preserve holds a lot of Cold Spring’s history. At the height of the Industrial Revolution, the West Point Foundry produced steam engines, ships, and artillery. Now, right off the train station platform, the Preserve is the starting point for several scenic hiking trails where you can explore historical points of interest.
