Only in New York City can you get away with dressing like a Care Bear in an old-fashioned Irish pub.

As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, that means so does New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade kicks off on 44th Street near St. Patrick’s Cathedral and marches up Fifth Avenue to 79th Street on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

If you’re celebrating, this year you won’t have to dye anything green to look festive. Last year, the world went nuts when the latest in menswear statement dressing dropped and revealed the RompHim.

This year, American Greetings Entertainment and Care Bears have launched a St. Patrick’s Day themed onesie, with their line of Good Luck Bear union suits. Sold through Target, the Good Luck Bear union suit comes in fleece and also a cotton-blend.

The original Care Bear artwork was painted in 1981 by artist Claire Russell for American Greetings to be used on greeting cards; the characters later went on to appear in TV programs and films.

Only in the city that never sleeps can you wear a fuzzy onesie to a bar and not turn heads.
