NYC’s Top Restaurants are Holding a “Bake Sale” for Planned Parenthood

Café Altro Paradiso, one of New York’s hottest restaurants, is holding a “bake sale” to benefit Planned Parenthood—and they’ve invited their restaurant friends to join in.

In the haute-restaurant version of the classic PTA fundraiser, this Sunday, April 2, several of NYC’s best restaurants and bakeries will band together to hold a bake sale, raising funds for Planned Parenthood, the nonprofit women’s health care organization that the Trump administration is threatening to defund. The bake sale will go from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm.

Gramercy Tavern, Le Bernardin, Le Coucou, Del Posto, Momofuku Milk Bar, and Ovenly are just a few of the restaurants and bakeries that will have pastries and other sweet treats on offer. We’re told that goodies will include caramel snickerdoodles (from Gramercy Tavern) and date-coconut cookies (from The Smile).

It’ll essentially be one-stop shopping for your favorite baked goods, plus a chance to donate to an organization that needs help now more than ever—meaning it’s possibly the closest you’ll likely ever come to consuming these indulgent goodies guilt-free.
