The Paris meets Tokyo brand Maison Kitsuné has relaunched its New York flagship in SoHo, on Lafayette Street this September, just in time for all your fall finds. Uniting fashion, music, and design, the boutique has re-opened in New York after a brief hiatus. Previously, the boutique was located on the ground floor of the NoMad Hotel. The clean, minimalist chic Parisian look the label is known for, works in SoHo, New York, where the architecture is more loft-like and inhabitants are keen for bold, crisp looks.

Co-founders and creative directors, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki (friends of Daft Punk), enlisted world-renowned French designer Mathieu Lehanneur to create a concept store that brings a sleek Parisian vibe to downtown New York. According to the press release, “The floor-to-ceiling metallic tubes are the nucleus of the artistic concept, boasting sleek curves and an iridescent finish, while also functionally serving as a multi-purpose base for fixtures, lighting, and of course delicately handing Maison Kitsuné’s collections.”

Indeed the store’s interior is itself a work of art, elevating the fashion retail experience. Find the “Lafayette” capsule collection to celebrate the SoHo relaunch that riffs on the melange of Paris and New York aesthetics with the “New Yorkais” slogan across T-shirts and totes.
