New Yorkers are eager to beat the summer heat with the opening of the new Summer Streets waterpark coming this August.

“LG Electronics is teaming up with Citi Summer Streets to create Manhattan’s first-ever water park,” reports TimeOut NY. “It’s going to be larger than two-and-a-half tennis courts combined.”

In an effort to promote LG’s new dishwasher, the QuadWash, the waterpark will resemble the new product, complete with enormous sprinkler arms, larger-than-life plates, and waterslides in the shape of spoons.

Each year, Summer Streets takes over New York with outdoor events and activities aimed at promoting healthy recreation for city dwellers. From closing down Park Avenue for bikers to erecting a waterslide, sponsored by VitaCoco, Summer Streets ends the summer with a bang.

With most days now averaging 80 to 85 degrees fahrenheit in New York, the promise of a waterpark—no matter how temporary or what appliance it resembles—is a treat for all New Yorkers.

The Summer Streets LG water park will be open August 5, 12, and 19 from 7am to 1pm, and can be found on Park Avenue between 70th and 71st street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
