For the last 12 years, vinyl sales have risen in the U.S. and around the world. Not only did this trend continue in 2017, but sales hit a new all-time Nielsen-era high with 14.32 million purchases. As we enter 2018, we can expect this steady revival to advance once again, and so what better time to start collecting than now?

Few cities offer a more vast and diverse market than the boroughs of New York City. And if any of those boroughs is guaranteed to offer crate diggers rare treasures and the hottest new releases, it’s definitely Brooklyn. Below, check out our most-recommended record shops in the area.
