Affordable Trends from New York Men's Fashion Week AW18

As New York Fashion Week (NYFW) menswear AW18 goes down, the fashion set wait with baited breath for the trends straight from the catwalk.

The biggest trend takeaway of NYFW menswear AW18 so far has been mixing prints—especially florals, and a reimagining of the traditional suit. As seen in previous collections, the trend of menswear and womenswear merging is still going strong, as harem pants being shown on men can easily be worn on women. And while New York designers are not putting men in skirts per se, prints traditionally designated as feminine like florals are on-trend this season, as are a more relaxed athleisure look. So too are accessories, whether it’s a trench hat (Death to Tennis) or a street style beanie (Perry Ellis).

And though Tom Ford and Raf Simons have not yet shown, the trends so far seem to be following a sports-tailoring vibe, as well as a casual, wearable style. Here’s a guide to what’s hot, plus affordable takes on looks you can shop from our site.

Replace the traditional tie with a luxe bandana, with wild prints, of course.
