Did you know that animals from the Central Park Zoo were once part of the very first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the 1920’s? The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is as integral to Thanksgiving as the turkey on the table and football on TV. The Parade winds it’s way through the middle of New York City with over 3 million people in attendance and even more watching at home.
