In NYC where there are so many restaurants to choose from, and it’s important to know who to listen to. With that said, here’s a list of trustworthy food bloggers to provide recommendations and help satisfy whatever craving you have.

Eden Grinshpan/@EdenEats

Eden got her start on television, she had her own cooking shows called Eden Eats and Log On And Eat With Eden Grinshpan. She’s since continued to keep the world updated on her delicious life via Instagram, her website, and Snapchat, and all three have the quirky, fun-loving attitude for which Eden is known. Her website includes more food info than you ever thought you needed from a column called ‘ten buck bites’ to video segments and recipes that all mean you’ll surely find something to satiate you.

Judy Kim/@TheJudyLab

Judy Kim is a food stylist and photographer, so you her blog and Instagram are nothing short of stunning. She’s styled food shoots for Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Women’s Health Magazine, and more, so she’s certainly someone to know for food photography inspiration. Keep up with Judy for her amazing recipes (she’s a master of the one pot meal) or simply for exceptional photography.

Jackie Gebel/@NoLeftovers

While ‘No Leftovers’ is primarily the name of Jackie Gebel’s Instagram account (on which she has a huge following), her food guide to New York City can be found on Foursquare via her website. She’s just as knowledgeable about dining in NYC as any food blogger should be, and the fact that her recommendations are accessible on Foursquare is super convenient. She separates recommendations by location, category, theme, or specific food, so whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find.

Sydney Kramer/@CrepesOfWrath

Sydney Kramer lives in Brooklyn, and her blog Crepes of Wrath is mostly a cooking blog with some Brooklyn restaurant recommendations sprinkled in. She even makes super easy-to-follow videos for some of her recipes, and her food is mouthwatering. This is not a vegan, gluten-free, or diet blog, but instead, it’s food you actually want to eat that’ll warm your heart and soul. Sydney clearly cooks with love, and her blog shows it.

Deb Perelmen/@DebPerelmen & @SmittenKitchen

Smitten Kitchen is a well-established, well-respected cooking blog, but little do many people know that it’s based in Brooklyn. The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook is a national bestseller, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Start by following Smitten Kitchen on Instagram, see what looks tastiest, and then head over to the blog for the full recipe. Deb has become a renowned cook over the years, so surely, her recipes won’t disappoint.

Alice & Linda/@Lettucedine

Alice & Linda are NYC natives, so they can certainly be trusted to know where to eat. They met in high school and bonded over a love of food and have since tried nearly every dish in the city. And while their website and Instagram have enough food inspiration to keep you endlessly drooling, be sure to check them out on Snapchat as well.

Skyler is all about big, bold, cheesy, and chocolaty food, and she’s not afraid to show it. The Food Network also just created a segment on its Snapchat called ‘Sipping With Skyler,’ where she creates and shares funky cocktails.
