Venturo Osteria & Wine Bar
Setting their stomping grounds in Sunnyside, Queens, Venuro Osteria & Wine Bar offers wines mainly from Italy (Toscana, Trentino, and Piedmonte), but there is also a selection from France, Austria, Spain and our very own backyard in the North Fork of Long Island. All their food is sourced from Brooklyn Grange, while their chef utilizes a farm-to-table approach for Italian cooking. The bar is gracefully paired with whitewashed, exposed brick walls, rustic banquettes, wooden floors and a series of high top tables.
Jack and Nellies
A wine-and-dine opportunity for those seeking an experience with no television is available at Jack and Nellies, located in Forest Hills. The drinks menu offers craft beer from Founders, Lagunitas and Ballast Point, wine from Germany, Italy and California, and a variety of small plates, large plates, cheese and charcuterie.
Danny Brown’s Wine Bar & Kitchen
Notable for winning a coveted Michelin star, Danny Brown’s Wine Bar & Kitchen has a selection of more than 80 wines by the bottle and 20 by the glass. The wines range in region from America, France, Greece and more. The bar also offers Spanish cooking to enhance the cultural experience.
Sayra’s is the first and only wine bar in the beach-y Rockaway community. Sayra’s offers a selection from California, Argentina and New Zealand, and pairs the experience with a menu that offers an assortment of tapas. Sayra’s also provides a beer garden and projection screen for movies.

Step away from Astoria and a sip into the Mediterranean at Winegasm wine bar, where customers are enticed by a fine selection of wines from from the Balkans, South America, Europe and Oceania. A majority of the wines arrive from France, but there is also a decent selection of Italian, Spanish and Croatian wines, offering a little something for everybody.
Owner Tina Stripanovic brings her Croatian flare to Astoria and harbors her passion for food in wine in the Rest Au Rant space. The space also offers quality beer and foods such as hot and cold tapas, cheese charcuterie, fondue, salads, paninis and shareable plates.
Global wines, infused cocktails and artisan food such as pizza, charcuterie and cheese trays are on the menu at DiWine wine bar. Wines from California, Oregon, France and Argentina are available by the glass and the bottle, and the bar also offers beer and whiskey.
Furnished with antique fixtures and authentic Parisian-style furniture, Domaine wine bar offers over 40 different wines by the glass hailing mainly from France, but also from Oregon, Uruguay and Chile. Their menu offers a range of cheese from France, Vermont and Spain, as well as small plates such as oysters, shrimp cocktail and a prosciutto plate.
