Corrine’s is Camden’s go-to soul food joint. It’s no frills, straightforward, fantastic food. Everything on the menu is a winner, but you’re crazy if you don’t try the fried chicken. If you want something more traditional, go for cajun pig’s feet or beef oxtails. Corrine’s has been a Camden favorite since 1990, and after one visit it’ll be yours too.

Freddy’s is Camden’s go-to place for authentic Spanish soul food. Try the mofongo, either shrimp or pork, and savor the huge sides of rice and beans. With hints of Dominican and Puerto Rican flavors, dishes such as arroz con gandules y carne frita will satisfy every craving you didn’t even know you had.
