1. Lodge of the Ozarks

Warning: if you stay at Lodge of the Ozarks, there’s a good chance you won’t see much of Lake of the Ozarks. Sure, the water is nearby, but this rustic lodge is on the Strip in Branson, so you’ll have to resist the amusement parks, theaters and museums standing in your way. And that’s after you fight the temptation to spend all day snoozing in your suite and splashing in the indoor pool.

2. Savannah House Hotel Branson

How does the Savannah House make you feel at home in Branson? With an unexpected sweet treat: free fresh baked cookies, hot cobbler and ice cream every evening. Naturally, a breakfast buffet and around-the-clock coffee are also included. Add in a few dips in the outdoor pool and even more in your king suite’s jetted tub, and you just may decide to put your actual home up for rent.

3. The Branson Hotel

Get to know Branson the same way visitors did before the town was officially incorporated at the Branson Hotel. Granted, the Backstage Wine Bar is new and a very appropriate addition to this adults-only hotel. The Heritage Room, however, celebrates the hotel’s rich history with portraits of the building through the years decorating the walls. Discover more about this destination at the Branson Centennial Museum right across the street near the “Old Branson” mural.

5. Big Cedar Lodge

Big Cedar Lodge was made for outdoor enthusiasts. The private log cabins are awesome in their own right, but it’s under the sun where you’ll find the fun. Sink putts, and sink lures. Aim at clay targets, and shoot the breeze on horseback. Think a storm will ruin your fun? Think again. Bowling, laser tag, bumper cars and so much more are in store indoors. All you need to do is show up – preferably in a comfortable pair of shoes.

6. Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa & Convention Center

Resort

Escape to Chateau on the Lake and hide away at the spa until you radiate as bright as the massive Swarovski crystal chandelier welcoming you in. A eucalyptus steam room and hydraulic-operated massage tables are just the start. White River Ultra Vitamin C facials, trigger point therapies and targeted CBD balm rubs are all on the menu. Need a breath of fresh air? The outdoor roman bath with a waterfall is only steps away.

7. Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing

Luxury

After one night at the Hilton Promenade, you’ll wonder what all the fuss is over the dancing fountains at the Bellagio. You’ll be dazzled by the Branson Landing Water & Fire Show happening right outside your suite’s window. Don’t stare too long, though; there’s plenty to see off and on the Branson Landing Boardwalk. Head up to North Beach Park to fish from the docks or down to the White River Fish House for fish-focused favorites.

8. The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks

Hotel

The Keeter Center may be at College of the Ozarks, but these overnight stays are no dorm-like duds. The rich wood ceiling beams in the loft suites and the crackling stone fireplace in the presidential suites get high marks in our book. The Branson Bluff House is at the top of its class, thanks to its custom hot tub built right into the bluff. With surprises like wet saunas and master suite fireplaces hiding behind every door, the Keeter Center passes our evaluations with flying colors.

9. Antlers Resort

Trust us, it was worth hitching the boat to the car before leaving for Antlers Resort. There’s a slip and ramp available for launches when you need to get a little alone time from the kids. They likely won’t know you’re gone, as they will probably be too busy chasing each other around the splash pad or racing through the lazy river. When you get back to your three-bedroom condo, though, be prepared to fire up the propane grill to feed your little fishies.

10. Still Waters Lakefront Resort

Resort

The entire family can spend the week together under one roof at Still Waters Resort. A three-bedroom condo sleeps twelve, though, mercifully, most of your kin will spend their time elsewhere on the resort. Pappy has already found a quiet place to cast a line while the little ones are on the playground. Your competitive cousins are either in the arcade or on the minigolf course calling each other out for cheating. Can’t find your mother? She’s off in the Oasis hot tub, where we dare not interrupt her quiet time.

Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet.
