Charlestown, the oldest neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts, is a living museum. Here you’ll find the USS Constitution, the earliest-commissioned Navy ship still afloat; the Warren Tavern, the oldest tavern in the state; and the Bunker Hill Monument, a memorial to mark the first major skirmish in the American Revolution. If you’re inspired by the name to go full Rocky, there’s a serviceable fitness center on site or you can use the more extensive gym facilities and swimming pools at Charles River Park.
