As Halloween approaches, things are beginning to get a little creepy around Baltimore. Adults have started to stock up on candy, and all anyone can think about is what costume they’ll be wearing. Halloween 2017: Strangest Things
Calling all fans of the Netflix original series Stranger Things. Power Plant Live!, conveniently located in downtown Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, will soon become the “upside-down.” There will be access to every bar located within Power Plant Live!, with special performances and live DJs throughout the night. There will be over $10,000 in cash and prizes and a major costume contest. So come prepared to drink up, bar hop, and win some prizes.

This event is for adults only, as you must be 21 years or older to partake in the alcoholic beverages that will be available. Red Shedman Farm Brewery and Linganore Winecellars will be hosting the Halloween Bash. In order to attend this event, you must purchase tickets online in advance for $15 per person; a glass of witches brew is included. Be prepared to participate in a costume contest, and don’t forget to drink responsibly!

Halloween Bash 2017
Calling all local Harley-Davidson bikers who are ready for some fun and live music by Shaded Days! Halloween Bash 2017 will be an entertaining event, as the Baltimore Metro Harley Owners Group Chapter #1792 will be hosting it. Everyone is to “bring your own bottle and dish” so that you can share in a little bit of everything. Tickets are available for purchase by contacting the Chapter. However, there is an “in costume” cost of $5 and a “no costume” cost of $10. There will be door prizes and many contests to keep the evening going. All proceeds will be going to Bikes from Bikers for Christmas.

Halloween Comicfest 2017
Are you a lover of comic books or all things superhero? If you are, then this is an event you don’t want to miss! Halloween Comicfest 2017 will take place at Geppis Entertainment Museum, and Stranger Things will be sponsoring it this year. Therefore, you’ll be able to explore the “upside-down” and partake in many games, crafts, and prizes. Geppis is also teaming up with Charm City Ghostbusters for some fun games and activities for children. There will be free comics and fantastic sales in their store as well. Believe In Music and the Maryland Science Center will be hosting Halloween 2017. As such, it’s so big of an event with so many different activities that you won’t know where to begin. General Admission tickets are $35, and VIP tickets are $70. Expect live performances, along with ice cream, light fare, a rooftop dance party, and live DJs performing all night. There will be so much to see and plenty of beer to taste, so make sure you arrive early so that you can take advantage of everything that’s on offer.

Howl-O-Ween Bingo is an event that’s put on by The Buddy Foundation of Maryland and Howl. Baltimore Haunted Pub Crawl
Who doesn’t like a good haunted house or pub crawl? If you enjoy those types of experiences, then you should experience the best of both worlds by participating in a Baltimore Haunted Pub Crawl. This pub crawl will guide you through various pubs in the Fells Point area of downtown Baltimore. You’ll stay in each bar for about 30 minutes, and you have to be 21 years or older in order to participate. In October, there are three Haunted Pub Crawls scheduled, so you have to book fast before they’re sold out. The ticket prices range from $18–22.
