Located on historic Bourbon Street, Galatoire’s
serves up French cuisine
with Louisiana influence. In 2013, Galatoire’s was named a Top Ten Old Dining Institution by the New York Times
and was awarded the Best Gumbo in New Orleans by Southern Living
. Galatoire’s offers duck and andouille Gumbo, which is a combination of duck and sausage in a thick roux. They also offer a seafood okra gumbo which consists of crab, shrimp, crawfish, and okra. Galatoire’s dress code is business casual for lunch, but jackets are required for gentlemen starting at 5 p.m. nightly and all day Sunday.
