New Orleans is known for many things – good food and drink and good times among them, of course. Before or after a day and night walking the cobblestone streets of the French Quarter or people-watching from a balcony in the Marigny, it feels great to relax and recharge in a bubbling soaker tub – in-tub cocktail optional. Here’s our list of the best hotels with jacuzzis and hot tubs in New Orleans – bookable on Culture Trip.

1. Mansion on Royal Street

The guest rooms in this Greek Revival edifice have been updated and modernized with contemporary furnishings and amenities, but they’ve managed to avoid erasing the 1850s character for which New Orleans is known. The property includes on its checklist a patio, gardens and a hot tub. As for the location – near restaurants, bars and museums – you’re a mere three blocks from Crescent Park on the banks of the Mississippi River and it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the French Quarter.

2. Boutique charms at Lamothe House Hotel

Book a room in this boutique hotel and be sure to choose one with a balcony overlooking the courtyard – filled with cobblestones and garden plantings that are classic to New Orleans, as well as a swimming pool and handy hot tub. Lamothe House is on Esplanade Avenue, a busy street between the Marigny and the French Quarter – where action is guaranteed.

3. Loews New Orleans Hotel, for high-rise modernity

The full-service hotel is pet-friendly and is popular because of its ample-sized guest rooms. Expect a gym, restaurant and bar, plus a pool with a hot tub. Many of the rooms have soaker tubs in the bathrooms, too. The downtown location is within walking distance of the French Quarter – which is, of course, great for tourists and sightseekers.

Clean lines, original art and new kitchens and appliances are really useful additions to rooms of exposed brick and original wood beams. The complex includes a deep-blue modern pool and a hot tub. Accommodations come with balconies that look out on the private pool courtyard – while the location is within walking distance to the French Quarter and Central Business District (CBD) and many museums, shops, restaurants and bars. We’re pretty sure you won’t get bored here.

Relax Big Easy-style by sipping a cocktail on the big front porch and watching the streetcars trundle by. The mid-city location is convenient for exploring Tulane University, City Park, the museums and more. Back at the ranch, rooms have private baths – three of which come with jacuzzis.
