June is Pride Month, so the last Sunday of the month is Chicago’s 47th Annual Pride Parade. While Pride Month may feature many events nowadays from concerts to a 5K, the parade is still the most iconic event of the celebration. The parade kicks off at noon and steps off from Broadway and Montrose in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, before heading south to end at Diversey and Cannon Drive. The Pride Parade is set to feature over 200 entries, including colorful floats, marching bands, and walkers from community businesses, community organizations, governmental officials, and individuals. There is no fee to attend the parade, and it is open to people of all ages.
