Chicago's Best Diner: Saved By The Max

Picture of Katie Mastropieri
Updated: 15 June 2016
This year, Wicker Park is bringing sexy back with a blast from the past. Saved By The Max is the most nostalgic, delicious way to spend your evening if you’re a 1990s baby. Open daily, this restaurant takes reservations and now also has prepared brown bag lunches and brunch to go. If you’re a Saved By the Bell fan, you will recognize how the diner designer has an extra keen eye and made sure to include every acute detail seen in the show. The staff is exceptionally photo-op friendly and willing to take pictures – they will even allow a customer to use any of Kelly’s locker items for a better picture. If you’re dining late night, customers can expect to see ‘The Zack Attacks,’ who serenade the crowd with familiar songs from the show. Finally, the food has a few major items that are fan favorites, include the Mac and Screech and the Tori’s Fried Chicken. If this décor doesn’t sell you, then the food will. Go Bayside!
