Celebrate Chicago At Neighborhoods Of The World

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 29 March 2016
Chicago is a diverse city filled with citizens from all over the world, and Navy Pier seeks to celebrate these populations with their Neighborhoods of the World programming. This free programming is held in the Pier’s Crystal Gardens and is designed to celebrate the diverse communities that make up Chicago with music, dance, food and crafts. On the 3rd, Navy Pier is partnering with the Consulate General of Mexico and the Mexico Tourism Board to celebrate the culture of Mexico. Then, on the 10th, the programming turns to the city’s large and historic Polish population. The 17th is the last day of the program, with a focus on India. Steal away to another country for an afternoon.
