Charley’s Restaurant and Saloon
Established in 1969, Charley’s Restaurant and Saloon is a Maui landmark. Located in the former sugar plantation town of Paia close to the scenic North Shore, Charley’s retains the history and the culture of Maui. Charley’s was named after the creator’s Great Dane and originally began as a juice stand. Today Charley’s remains under the ownership of dog lovers. The venue is known for their breakfasts, featuring giant homemade pancakes that have been flipped by Willie Nelson, omelettes, and award-winning French toast.

Take in the picturesque mountain views at Kula Lodge & Restaurant. Chez Meme Bistro & Bakery is a casual French breakfast and lunch spot in the heart of Kihei. Hidden out of the way at the Napili Shores condos is The Gazebo, a poolside restaurant that has a small amount of open-air seating space and offers take-out. The wait can be long, but the food and the view of Napili Bay make it worth the wait. Their menu offers a variety of pancakes, omelettes, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Grandma’s Coffee House
Grandma’s Coffee House started in 1918 when Grandma began roasting and brewing Maui organic coffee and her home became the place to gather and gossip. Grandma’s coffee is grown on the slopes of Haleakala, the beans are picked by hand and dried naturally by the sun, and then the coffee is roasted at Grandma’s. Grandma’s Coffee House also serves homemade breakfast favorites like French toast, waffles, bagels, oatmeal, and egg dishes. Guests can enjoy a brunch outside on the scenic deck.
