For the love of unicorns!
Everyone loves macarons. They melt in your mouth, come in all sorts of ungodly flavours, and above all, their sugary layers of crystallised awesomeness are totally bad for you – what’s not to love?

While most people associate these wonderful treats as two simple-flavoured discs held firmly together with a tasty filling, Georgia-based Mac Lab Bakery has taken the concept much further and created these absolutely fabulous, hand-painted, rainbow-coloured, unicorn-themed macarons (don’t worry, our mouths dropped too).

Since their non-GMO rainbow queens appeared all over Instagram a few months back, the American desert lords have sifted through an insane amount of requests and questions from the press.
