1. Gramps

Gramps in Wynwood hosts various karaoke nights to unleash your inner diva, as well as funky drag queen shows and gay-themed events on a weekly basis. Smack dab in the heart of Wynwood, the low-key facade and open terrace is a local favorite for beers and a good show.

2. Basement

A neon-lit ice-skating rink & bowling alley add to the perks found at this trendy nightclub. Located in the Edition Hotel, Basement also boasts a funky nightclub with special lighting and effects designed by the legendary Patrick Woodroffe. The club is seatless, however, so you’d better be prepared to dance.

3. Twist

With seven bars and three dance floors, visitors can easily navigate through different musical halls to switch it up for a different vibe each time. Twist, the two-story South Beach gay club, features different décor in each room, giving visitors a unique club-hopping experience. Open seven nights a week, there’s never a cover charge here.

5. Palace

Smack dab in the heart of the bustling Ocean Drive, Palace is well-known for its sassy drag-queen shows and gay-friendly atmosphere. The famous bar has historically supported gay rights for decades, and boasts an outdoor lounge area as well as an indoor bar where visitors can enjoy music in a lively ambiance.

Just on Washington Avenue, Score is a local favorite for gay and straight folks just looking for a fun night out. The hotspot features a sprawling dance floor, massive disco balls and trendy DJs most nights. There’s also an outdoor terrace for those looking for a cigarette break.

7. Bar Gaythering

The bar at the Bar Gaythering hotel hosts happy hour, karaoke, and trivia nights, as well as crafty cocktails that make it one of the best gay-friendly bars with a laid-back vibe. Guests can come in suits just as well as flip flops and shorts – there is no designated attire. Beer and wine specials are also affordable!
