Updated: 22 March 2018
Car enthusiasts should mark their calendars. The famous Barret-Jackson Auto Auction will cruise into Palm Beach on April 12-15, auctioning millions in total value. The world’s finest collector car event draws in crowds of 50,000 – and this will be the 16th year Palm Beach hosts the event.

The exclusive roadshow (which will be broadcast) will be auctioning cars ranging from muscle cars to vintage automobiles. Viewers can expect exotic models from Land Rover, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz from the 1950s. There will be educational symposiums for car lovers to learn about the collector car hobby from panels of experts, and even the option to test drive the latest whips from a variety of automakers.

The event will kick off with an Opening Night Gala for an exclusive guest list (including celebrities) which will celebrate with cocktails, gourmet cuisine and live music.

Multiple auctions will be spanning all through the weekend, and visitors will also get an up-close look at certain vehicles as they exit the auction block.

If you don’t want to buy a car, you can always attend the Barret-Jackson Automobilia Auction for a car piece. Visitors will have a chance to bid for vintage car parts, rare hood mascots, gas pumps, dealership signs and racing posters. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, hop in a Chevrolet to experience a ride on a closed course with a professional driver.

But it’s not just car activities. Located in the South Florida Fairgrounds, the event will feature entertainment and shopping for everyone. Visitors can peruse the Exhibitor Marketplace with memorabilia, top-of-the-line gear, and a selection of fashion and lifestyle items for sale. There will also be a food court on-site.

Tickets to the event for an all-week pass are $80 in advance, $95 at the door, but you may also purchase tickets for individual days starting at $20.
