Picture of Aisha Moktadier
Updated: 15 May 2017
If you’re looking for the perfect place to tell your partner you want to marry them, Miami is full of romantic and beautiful spots that can help you make someone feel incredibly special. Here are seven spots you should keep in mind when looking to propose to the love of your life.

Crazy About You

This Brickell restaurant gives beautiful water views as well as vistas of Miami’s lovely skyline. It’s super romantic and has a gorgeous, soft ambiance with candlelight and great food. Everyone here dresses nicely, so make sure to pull out your best outfit. You and your date can enjoy menu items such as Firecracker Rigatoni, Kale Salad with Gulf Shrimp, and Hawaiian Tuna Poke. Don’t forget to top things off with wine, dessert, and a proposal.

Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)

If you and your loved one are really into some cool art, and you’re in the market for a more “offbeat” place to propose, the PAMM is your place. Here you and your partner can check out the exhibitions from local and international artists, then head outside to the terrace to enjoy some lunch. The terrace overlooks the water and makes for an absolutely stunning view. Get ready to get down on one knee and have that special someone say “yes” at this picturesque space.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

Ask the love of your life to marry you in the gardens here at this beautiful museum. Villa Vizcaya, the gardens’ former name, was once the winter home of James Deering. During the holidays, it’s decked in lights and sparkling embellishments, and during the summer months, beautiful garden parties and events are held. Ask your partner to marry you under the light of the moon, surrounded by all sorts of lush flora at this gorgeous place in Miami.

Juvia

This restaurant is located on the roof of a parking garage on South Beach and offers the most amazing 360-degree view of the city. Here you and your partner can enjoy plates such as grilled beef pinchos, sea scallop plancha, and Korean marinated short ribs. You can also enjoy handcrafted cocktails such as Purple Juvia, Cucumis, and Biscayne Bay Sunset. When you propose and get your “yes,” you’ll have the whole restaurant on your side cheering. If you want to add an even more special dimension, ask servers to help you out (maybe by snapping a photo), or try and time your proposal for sunset, although it’s beautiful at night, too!

Fairchild Tropical Gardens

If you and your partner adore the great outdoors, and he or she is fond of flowers and nature, your dream spot would be Fairchild Tropical Gardens. This space boasts hundreds of beautiful plants and flowers, and the natural beauty is stunning. You can visit the butterfly exhibit, walk through a beautiful glass space, and play with different kinds of butterflies (which makes for great photos!). Maybe find a quiet part of the park and get down on one knee when you feel ready. Every inch of the park is breathtaking; now the tough part is choosing where to propose!

Schnebly Redland’s Winery

This winery is some distance out of the city boundaries of Miami, and very far away from all of the South Beach craziness. Here, you’ll find a place where you can go on a wine-tasting tour with your love, trying all kinds of fruit wines made at the winery. From award-winning coconut wine to lychee and mango wines, your tastebuds will be swept away. Plus, who can turn down a little “liquid courage?” You can also bring some crackers, meat, and cheese, and head to a bench and enjoy your food with your wine. The winery is lined with fairy lights, and there’s a DJ spinning tunes if you feel like dancing. Want some alone time? Head to the brewery and go out back, where you’ll find all kinds of open space beneath the stars to pop the question.

The best kept secret in South Florida, Schnebly Redland Winery is the southernmost winery in the US, located in Homestead, producing tropical fruit based wines. For beer lovers, they also have a brewery with fruit based beers. Apart from the unique wines (my favorites are the coconut, avocado and guava wines), the place is absolutely beautiful. You are immediately transported to a tropical oasis with lush gardens and waterfalls. They have daily tastings and weekend wine tours. You can bring your own food and eat in their picnic tables overlooking their beautiful landscape or you can eat at their Redlander Restaurant. This place is a must visit for wine lovers and those who want to escape to this small piece of paradise! 📷 by @schneblywinery #schneblywinery #schneblyredlandswinery #southernmostwineryinus #homestead #southflorida #paradise #tropicalfruitwines #brewery #gardens #waterfall #winetasting #beertasting #winetours #coconutwine #lycheewine #guavawine #carambolawine #mangowine #southflorida #whattodoinmiami #glassofwine #exoticwines #vino #tasting #schnebly #miamipov #miamipovtips #miamitips

The Biltmore Hotel Miami

The Biltmore is probably the most stunning hotel in all of Miami, and it’s located in the heart of Coral Gables. The architecture is striking, and there is a large, beautiful pool and bar where you can sit outside, catch the sunset, and enjoy some light food or a glass of wine. You can walk around the hotel, which is full of beautiful spaces both inside and outside, and find a nice, quiet place to sit and talk. If you want to take your partner for a nice dinner beforehand at the hotel, head to the Palm d’Or. Here, you can have tasty French dishes from world-class chefs. Then you can ask your question and get your “yes.”
