The Harvest Grill & Greens – James Ranch

Situated 10 miles north from Durango, The Harvest Grill & Greens can be found in Colorado’s beautiful Animas River valley. The restaurant works closely with a full range of suppliers from nearby, counting on local meat and dairy farmers to keep their tables groaning under the weight of hearty meals. The James Ranch is responsible for rearing its own cattle, so guests can be sure of a real pasture to table experience. Dishes include a full range of burgers, steak sandwiches, and more.

Eolus Bar & Dining is a beautiful fine dining restaurant in Durango and specializes in artistic plates of food for its ever discerning clientele. Boasting excellent views of the city, Eolus Bar & Dining provides a totally immersive experience of the local atmosphere; the restaurant also hosts a number of Happy Hours throughout the week. The menu includes pan roasted duck breast with fig risotto, chicken stuffed with crab meat, and a range of sushi options, which come freshly prepared from the dedicated sushi chefs.

Oscar’s Cafe

Billed as Durango’s best breakfast location, Oscar’s Cafe has recently passed its 35 year anniversary. Oscar’s Cafe is a provider of upscale comfort food, specializing in dishes that remind guests of home and childhood menus. Oscar’s Cafe is an entirely family run affair, with mum and leader Paula Berg assisted by both her husband and daughter. The menu includes all manner of great breakfasts, including chicken-fried steak, eggs any style, and a range of French toast options. The late risers don’t have to miss out, either, as Oscar’s is also open for lunch.

Derailed Pour House

The bar at the Derailed Pour House dates back to the 1890s. The Pour House boasts a range of crafted martinis, at least 14 beers on tap at any given time, and also a stage area that provides a great platform for touring bands. The restaurant is locally owned and operated and provides a great space for hanging out with family and friends. The menu features a selection of casual dining options such as burgers, sharers and finger food.

Fired Up Pizzeria

The pizzas at Fired Up Pizzeria are made with hand crafted dough, topped with specialty imported ingredients. The owners stress that by pouring their heart and soul into their craft, they can guarantee the tastiest pizzas in the city. All of the pizzas are cooked in a traditional-style wood fired pizza oven, which helps add to the flavor of each pizza. Where appetizers include a selection of exciting nibbles – stuffed peppers, roasted mushrooms, and smoked salmon – the options for pizza are enormous, with both pizza and tomato based sauces available.

Seasons of Durango

Seasons of Durango aims to serve the best in exemplary American cuisine and service. The kitchen area at Seasons of Durango is fully open and sits in the middle of the restaurant floor, inviting guests into the busy and exciting center of the restaurant. Dishes are simple, but showcase the very best in each ingredient’s potential. The menu changes depending on what is available each day, so ring ahead to inquire about the day’s selection.
