Scott’s Denver Boot Camp is a series of classes run by Scott Harwood, a certified trainer and fitness instructor with more than a decade of experience. Although Harwood owns and operates his full-service gym, you can also sign up for the Wash Park Boot Camp in beautiful Washington Park. These year-round outdoor boot camps include cardio, core and ab work, and weight training. Best of all, you’ll spend an hour in one of the prettiest parks in Denver.
It Burns Joe Fitness offers an intense full-body workout every Sunday morning at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Morrison. Not only can you get a great free workout that involves everything from stair running to core strengthening, military exercises and yoga, but you’ll be in one of the most beautiful spots in Colorado. Workouts start at 8 a.m. sharp.
Yoga Rocks the Park is an awesome workout experience held in Sunken Gardens Park each summer that includes an all-levels, music/DJ-driven yoga class, as well as guided meditation and a yoga camp for kids.
Civic Center MOVES is a year-round free fitness offering hosted by the Civic Center Conservancy. Those of all fitness levels will find a class to their liking, offered outdoors in Civic Center Park from late-April through mid-October. From yoga to full-body boot camps, every class emphasises community and are scheduled Monday through Thursday at the lunch hour and in the evening.
