‘Oakland First Fridays’ Block Party
Every first Friday of the month, Oakland celebrates its vibrant art scene by putting together an immersive and engaging community event. Local galleries, artists’ collectives, street artists, and poets all gather for the special occasion. Galleries stay open late, and musicians, dancers, and DJs are slated to perform, as well.
When: Friday, December 4th, 5-9:30 pm.
Holiday Pop-Up 2015
Shop the best of Oakland this holiday season at the annual Holiday Pop-Up at Jack London Square. The eclectic event will feature a vibrant mix of 70 local artisans, as well as performances from local musicians. Go early, and you can catch the lighting of the famous Jack London Christmas tree while you do your holiday shopping!

Push The Feeling DJ Night
Spend your Saturday dancing into the wee hours of the night at Underground SF’s monthly dance party. Push The Feeling invites local and out-of-town guest DJs to its decks every month, as well as presenting sets by resident DJs YR Skull and Episauce. Tickets are only six dollars but when you RSVP before ten- it’s free!
When: Saturday, December 5th, 9pm-2am

2015 Holiday Lighted Boat Parade
Get into the holiday season this Saturday at the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade in Petaluma. Boats aglow with colored lights and holiday decorations will light up the Petaluma river, and live entertainment and festive food and drinks will also be provided.
When: Saturday, December 5th, 6:30-11pm
Asian Art Museum Free Admission Day
The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian Art, with a collection of over 18,000 artworks spanning 6,000 years of history. Normally $12, the museum offers free admission every first Sunday of the month.
When: Sunday, December 6th, 10am-5pm.
