Located in San Francisco in the infamous Jackson Square, sits the Italian restaurant Cotogna and its chef’s table. Decorated chef Michael Tusk, the 2011 ‘Best Chef-Pacific’ winner, brings his expertise of Italian food to San Francisco in an open kitchen. The chef’s table sits right outside, where you can enjoy an authentic family-style Italian meal whilst watching the expertise of Chef Tusk as he manages his kitchen flawlessly.

One Market

One of the most popular chef’s tables in the city is at One Market, where full service has never been truer. Up to 7 diners can enjoy the seven-course tasting menu, all served by the chef who created them. Diners will also get a unique, behind-the-scenes look into what exactly goes on in a kitchen, and just how the magnificent dishes are created. The table itself overlooks the massively beautiful Ferry Building, the perfect way to top off the perfect dining experience.

Nopa’s chef counter may not be very well-known, but the experience is one-of-a-kind. With a wood fire oven, their food is primitive and sitting at the chef’s counter means overlooking the entire kitchen where all of the magic happens. It is a little more casual than the traditional chef’s table as it is bar-style, but that does not remotely take away from the excitement of overlooking the kitchen and the creation of your mouth-watering meal.
