Bar None. We’ve been racking our brains trying to figure out the meaning behind the name. It could be because after a night out at this place, you’ll have no memory of ever being there. None. Don’t believe us? Start out with a few of the daily specials, $2 secret shots, then a $12 pitcher, a game of beer pong or three, then see who’s a believer. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

The Tipsy Pig is the perfect blend of hipster culture and Marina vibes. The atmosphere is spot on – an American gastropub with food and beer selection to match. If you bring a date here for dinner, we recommend the mac ‘n’ cheese with bacon. Don’t forget to try the Strawberry Fields cocktail.
Matrix is one of those places that makes you curse last call. When 2am hits, it’s hard to admit defeat. The DJ always impresses and the cocktails do, too. Did someone mention a fireplace? And a six-to-one guy-to-girl ratio? If there was such thing as a classy Jersey Shore, this would be it. That’s meant that in the best way possible.

Mom always said, ‘Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.’ From the outside,
Horseshoe Tavern looks just like any other dive bar, but inside… well, okay, it’s just as dive-y. Unlike other watering holes in the area, this one actually serves drinks under $10. Check-in here and get your first drink on the house.
The Blue Light
Bar, American
The Blue Light is easily a top pick for many reasons. One, there is no shortage of televisions on which to watch your favorite game while indulging in an ice cold brew. Two, Taco Tuesday specials will leave you coming back for more.
Campus

Two words: Bloody Mary. This spot may not be as established as many other bars in the Marina, but it has a life-changing Bloody Mary, guaranteed. Two more words: Chex Mix. Well, make that three: free Chex Mix. Word on the street is Campus also serves a $10 shot and beer special. You may have just found both the holy grail and your future nightmare.
Monaghan’s
Bar, American
Monaghan’s is a classic, and any long time Marina patron would agree. This spot continues to amaze; in a sea of nightclubs, this ship sails steady, or wobbly – very wobbly. Must be the insanely cheap drink specials Monaghan’s pours. The crowd… well, you know what to expect. Embrace it.
Hi-Fi Lounge

Chances are, if you’re in the Marina, you’re looking for a good time. Maybe not a long time, but a good time. Hi-Fi is here to help with all of your personal needs. Music? Always on point. Dance floor? Even more so. Don’t let the crowds scare you away – the more the merrier. And the more potential for free drinks.
Marina Lounge
Bar, American, $$$
No need to bore you with the familiar, so here’s the short take. Great atmosphere, cheap drinks, TVs with sports, pool tables, yadda yadda yadda… The one thing that makes Marina Lounge so special is one famous bartender: Sully. Best not to go into detail; you’ll just have to go see what all the fuss is all about for yourself.
Reed & Greenough
Bar, Pub Grub, $$$
Reed & Greenough is the type of place where you sip on your handcrafted cocktail, get too competitive during shuffleboard, then look around and think, ‘have I turned into my mother?’ This upscale bar, covered in vintage décor, is straight out of the 1800s. Seriously, they found the old sign of the bar fossilized under the Earth. How hip is that?
