Food trucks have become a smash hit on the foodie scene, especially in San Jose. These mobile hot spots roam the neighborhoods to serve people some delicious, creative, and incredibly convenient food right from the truck. Culture Trip has put together a list of some of the best food trucks in San Jose and where you can find them setting up shop.

1. Chaat Palace

Chaat Palace, parked in West San Jose, offers some of the best chaats around. The food truck combines fresh ingredients and bold flavors to satisfy anyone with a South Asian food craving. The dishes are as authentic as they are scrumptious, with a lot of variety, which keeps patrons coming back for more.

2. Grilled Cheese Bandits

This food truck cruises around North San Jose for the most part, serving a dazzling fusion of Korean BBQ and Mexican cuisine. How does a kimchi quesadilla sound? It’s positively yummy and is just one of the mind-blowing dishes on the menu.

6. Street Fusion

Another great fusion spot on wheels is Street Fusion, serving the surrounding Downtown San Jose area. It slings out Vietnamese-American fusion dishes such as pork banh mi and BBQ chicken, as well as smoothies, including chocolate peanut butter. With plenty of brown rice-based meals and lettuce wraps, this is a perfect food truck to find a healthier alternative to a greasy lunch.

The diverse waffle menu ranges from classic chicken and waffles to the decadently sweet banana and salted caramel waffle and more.
