Located in the jazz-filled Fillmore district, the restaurant’s atmosphere is upscale and swanky, but you can expect a loud, fun time with live music and creative drinks. Enjoy comfort brunch food like Pork Confit Hash, Tasso Ham Benedict, and Bananas Foster French Toast. Sundays include a surcharge for live gospel music. Kitchen Story serves Californian cuisine in an attempt to recall the warm aroma of a home-cooked breakfast in the morning at grandma’s house. Brunch is served every weekend and features a wide variety of both breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast options include Mascarpone Stuffed Deep Fried French Toast, a mushroom omelet with hollandaise, two eggs with a cheddar-melt potato, and Kitchen Story’s famous Millionaire Bacon. Lunch options include a crab panini, a strawberry salad, and a veggie burger. Bottomless mimosas are served for $19 a pop, with the request that customers limit their refill time to two hours.
