Soak Up Summer Fun At Watt’s 50th Anniversary Summer Festival

Picture of Culture Trip LA
Updated: 26 July 2016
The story  of the present day Watt’s starts back in 1965, when the community of Watt’s was consumed in a five day riot fueled by racial tensions. A year later, the anniversary of the riot was turned into a day of remembrance and celebration of the African American community. Enjoy street food, music performances, and high spirits as the community comes together for the mark of half a century of solidarity and peace.
