Need a break from the workweek grind? Come out to one of our favorite events in and around the city this week. There is something for everyone, from music lovers to art aficionados.

Monday 9/14 — Live at Lagunitas: Experimental Rock Concert with Man Man

This is the final night of Lagunitas Brewery’s Live Concert Series, featuring two amazing experimental rock performers: Man Man and Shilpa Ray. Good beer and free music. Need we say more?

When: Doors open at 4:20pm with food and beer available in their Tap Room and Beer Sanctuary. Opener starts at 6pm.

Tuesday 9/15 — Live Electronica: SunSquabi at The Chapel

The Chapel presents the 3-piece electronic hydro funk experience known as SunSquabi. Straight off the heels of some of the country’s most notable festivals (Sonic Boom, Snowball and SXSW), the trio is quickly gaining recognition within the EDM scene. SunSquabi’s live shows are always a good time; energetic and electrifying, they fuse traditional instruments with electronica for a unique experience you don’t want to miss.

Wednesday 9/16 — Comedy Night at Bazaar Cafe

Every third Wednesday of the month, Bazaar Cafe hosts a free comedy night featuring a lineup of talented local comedians. This week, Bazaar welcomes Danny Dechi, a Bay Area favorite and the world’s first pencil musician. Who isn’t up for booze and free laughs?

Thursday 9/17 — Yerba Buena Gallery Crawl: Third Thursdays

Every third Thursday of every month, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts opens its doors for an evening of art, live music and interactive performances. Not only is the Gallery Crawl FREE, but it’s a great way to check out some amazing art while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying some live music.

Friday 9/18 — Schroeder’s Oktoberfest Front St. Block Party

Kick off Oktoberfest with Schroeder’s annual Front Street Block Party this Friday! You can expect a lot of live music, Hofbräu beer, Jäger shots, sausages, pretzels, and polka.
