Monday, 11/16: 9th Anniversary Classical Revolution Chamber Music Jam

Mission District’s Revolution Café is celebrating the 9th anniversary of the Classical Revolution. Stop by this lively venue and hear some classical classics in a unique Chamber Jam format, where musicians get a chance to perform in a casual environment. We love this place because it is the perfect blend of the San Francisco we know and love, the one full of art, soul, love music, and no judgment. Thanks for the weekly events, Revolution Café, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

When: November 16, 2015, 8:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Tuesday, 11/17: Comedy-Drama Play Shakespeare Goes to War

To go? Or not to go? That is the question. A new comedy-drama produced by San Francisco’s Theatre Rhinoceros at the Thick House theatre in Potrero Hill, Shakespeare Goes to War, will run from November 4-28, 2015. Support the arts and get a laugh at the same time. Family coming to town for the holidays? How about you wow them with some good ole’ Shakespeare?

When: November 17, 2015, November 28, 2015

Where: Thick House, 1695 18th St, San Francisco

Ticketing: $15 student, $20 general

Wednesday, 11/18: Mole Fest 2015

Holy moly, this just might be the best festival ever. So good it makes Coachella look like the annoying ex-girlfriend. This contest allows for the audience to try a wide array of moles, a Mexican sauce made from chilis, spices, and chocolate, and vote for their very favorite. Taste away while enjoying a live DJ and performances.

When: November 18, 2015, 7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.

Where: Mission Cultural Center, 2868 Mission St, San Francisco

Ticketing: $7 to taste, $5 for a plate of food

Friday, 11/20: 16th Annual Turkey Cook-Off

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so get your pillow and blanket ready, because after this you’re about to nap, hard. Imagine this, you’re on the Food Network and you get to be the judge of world famous chefs’ best turkeys, side dishes, and desserts. Now remove the Food Network part, but keep the judging. That could be you, this Friday. Oh yeah, and it’s free.

When: Friday, November 20, 2015, 7:00 pm-10:00 p.m.
