Made in L.A. is a biennial exhibition put up by the Hammer Museum in order to showcase the artists who work in the greater Los Angeles area. This year, only 26 artists are participating in the exhibit, in order to give each artist the depth and space needed for their work, big or small. The exhibition is meant to take a look the unique perspectives offered up by the L.A. art scene. Featured works range from dance to fashion to literature to film. It’s a free exhibit, as usual at the Hammer, running from June 12th to August 28th. Come see the work of new artists around L.A. and take in the diverse, innovative works.
