Roll Through East Los Angeles With The Ovarian Psycos Documentary

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 9 July 2016
A group of Xicana women in East L.A. are redefining identity and building community through an irreverently named bicycle crew: The Ovarian Psycos. This exhilarating documentary gets deeply personal, as the sisterhood cruise Boyle Heights, fighting to reclaim the streets from the forces of colonization and patriarchy that have oppressed them all their lives. As much a celebration as it is a rebellion, Ovarian Psycos is one ride you don’t want to miss. The film will have its L.A. premiere by way of Outfest Los Angeles, which is hosting a variety of screenings through July 17th.

Tickets: $15
