Disneyland at Christmas

Enjoy a classic holiday celebration by visiting Disneyland at Christmas, when the park lights up with holiday decorations and seasonal themed characters. This year, you can also look forward to the brand new Disney Festival of Holidays at California Adventure, featuring food, music, and live entertainment. The park will be decked out in with holiday festivities from November 10th to January 8th.

LA Zoo Lights

Let your wild side out by visiting the LA Zoo Lights, a holiday light show put on by DWP in Griffith Park. The display will feature LED lights, lasers, 3D projections, animal-themed sets, and interactive displays. The event will also feature some of the best lights from the original DWP Holiday Light Festival. This display will be open from November 18th to January 8th.

Ice Skating

Even if you don’t experience typical winter weather in Los Angeles, you can still take advantage of the fun winter sports. Check out our favorite spots to go ice skating in and around the city, offering everything from public skating to figure skating lessons. Some of the best rinks include ICE at Santa Monica, the Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square, LA Kings Holiday Ice, the Skating Edge Ice Arena, and the Pasadena Ice Skating Center.

Six Flags Holiday in the Park

Head over to Six Flags Magic Mountain this month for Holiday in the Park, when the park lights up with festive light shows, holiday décor and goods, and lots of entertainment. Enjoy your favorite amusement park rides and games while reveling in a festive holiday atmosphere, accompanied by carolers and Santa himself. Magic Mountain will be celebrating the holidays from November 19th to January 1st.

Holiday Shopping

If you want to find something unique to give your loved ones, be sure to do your holiday shopping at one of the artisan craft fairs going out throughout the season. The Renegade Craft Fair will return to Los Angeles at Grand Park on December 10th and 11th. Alternately, check out the Echo Park Craft Fair at Mack Sennett Studios the same weekend. If you end up putting your shopping off until the last minute, be sure to hit up the SoCal Etsy Guild Market at the Galleria at Tyler from December 20th to 23rd.
