Mark your calendars, because the Hollywood Bowl has an amazing schedule this summer. Here are the best upcoming events at the venue.

The Hollywood Bowl plays host to some of the biggest names in music, hilarious comedians, and the most amazing shows around. This summer’s schedule is a glorious mix of classic artists, family-friendly extravaganzas, and millennial crowd-pleasers.

Paul Simon, May 22–23 & 28

As part of his farewell tour (appropriately-titled ‘Homeward Bound—The Farewell Tour’), legendary singer/songwriter Paul Simon will play a two-night set at the Hollywood Bowl. Not only is Simon a living legend, this is literally fans’ last chance to see him live. Buy tickets here.

Beauty and The Beast in Concert, May 25–26

Looking for something family friendly? Beauty and the Beast in Concert is coming to the Hollywood Bowl for two nights of magic. The show will star Zooey Deschanel, Kelsey Grammer, Taye Diggs, Rebel Wilson, and Jane Krakowski. Be the Bowl’s guest and buy tickets here.

Kevin Hart, June 7

Kevin Hart is, hands down, one of the funniest comedians working today. Thankfully for fans, he’s taking a break from his busy movie career to tour some live comedy, and his stop at the Hollywood Bowl on June 7 can’t be missed. Buy tickets here.

Opening Night Diana Ross, June 16

Grease Sing-A-Long, June 30

The classic musical will be projected on the Hollywood Bowl’s giant screen and fans will belt out the lyrics to favorites like “Summer Lovin'” and “Greased Lightnin’.” It’s basically a musical-lover’s dream come true. Buy tickets here.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – in Concert, July 5

Talk about magic—the Hollywood Bowl will project the fourth Harry Potter movie in HD, accompanied by the LA Phil. Buy tickets here (Muggles welcome).

Jennifer Hudson with Orchestra, July 6–7

American Idol alum and Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson will perform a two-night stint at the Hollywood Bowl in July, accompanied by an orchestra. This is Hudson’s first time at the Bowl, believe it or not. Buy tickets here.

Annie, July 27–29

Annie, one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, comes to the Hollywood Bowl this July for three nights. It’s another family-friendly event and tickets are available here.

August

Star Wars in Concert, August 7, 9, 10 & 11

The first two (chronologically by release, anyway) Star Wars films come to the Hollywood Bowl this summer for a live concert performance. See A New Hope on August 7 and 10 and The Empire Strikes Back on August 9 and 11. Buy tickets here and here.

John Williams: Maestro of the Movies • 40th Anniversary Celebration!, August 31, September 1–2

John Williams, master of cinematic scores, is back at the Bowl this summer with an evening of some of his biggest movie hits, including some selections performed with film clips. Buy tickets here.
