Explore Dystopias With Elaine Cameron-Weir At Venus

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 29 March 2016
Elaine Cameron-Weir is bringing her art into L.A. for the first time in a solo exhibit. Her art ranges from sculpting to painting to installation, and uses materials that include wood, concrete, marble, brass, and more. Her art is centered around 20th century art, but also has aspects of science fiction and dystopias, blurring the lines between real and artificial. Already not small in size—she has a brass houseplant sculpture that is twelve feet high—her dystopian sculptures are being sized up to fill the expansive exhibition space. April 30th is the final day of her L.A. debut, and the last day to see her odd and elegant artwork.

📅Saturday, April 30th

📍601 S Anderson Street Los Angeles, CA 90023
