Celebrate SF’s Most Historic District At The Haight Ashbury Street Fair

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 8 June 2016
The Haight-Ashbury neighborhood will light up in celebration on Sunday, June 12th, for the annual Haight Ashbury Street Fair. Music, arts, crafts, and food are the mainstay of this event, celebrating the cultural history and diversity of one of San Francisco’s most internationally celebrated neighborhoods, bringing thousands of people to Haight Street between Stanyan and Masonic to shop over 200 outdoor vendors, including green businesses, local artists, clothing, non-profits, and more. The Haight-Ashbury Street Fair is a non-profit organization dedicated to ‘preserving the cultural and historical significance of the district by sponsoring the annual community celebration and supporting community programs that incorporate the neighborhood’s spirit of diversity, cooperation and humanism.’ Check out the festival’s musical lineup here. If you’d like to participate more actively, find the 2016 vendor application here.
