Morning: Crystal Cove

Option #1: Crystal Cove State Park

Leave your troubles behind as you start your morning off in the scenic wilderness of Crystal Cove State Park. With 17 miles of hiking trail available at various levels of difficulty, from the three-mile Easy Out and Back trail to the nine-mile Strenuous Loop, you can pick a hiking experience that best fits you. See native California plants, breathtaking geological formations, creeks, and majestic sycamore trees. After the hike, head on over to the beach to unwind and relax.

Option #2: Crystal Cove State Beach

If you prefer the beach scene to the mountains, skip the hike and go directly to Crystal Cove State Beach. Get out your boards and beach gear, since this beach has excellent waves for surfers and boarders. Get in touch with your inner ecologist and visit the tide pool to see the magnificent home of sea anemones, mussels, barnacles, chitons, limpets, hermit crabs, and star fish.

Afternoon: Fashion Island

Option #1: Shopping

With a plethora of stores at outdoor mall Fashion Island, you can get everything you need from clothing to appliances and cars. Take a break from shopping and visit the zen koi pond or check out the seasonal decorations during the holidays.

Option #2: Food

From fast food to high-end restaurants, Fashion Island has a place to fulfill your stomach’s desires. Select from Japanese, Italian, American, and French restaurants to sit down and unwind. If you do not want a full meal, go to the American Tea Room for a fresh-brewed pot of tea.

Night: Diamond Jamboree/District at Tustin Legacy
