Unique Dining Experiences In Noe Valley

One of the less-explored districts in San Francisco is Noe Valley, located amidst the more popular Mission, Twin Peaks and Castro. A family-friendly neighborhood, Noe Valley is filled with great places to shop for unique clothing and fresh groceries and has many highly rated restaurants.

Griddle Fresh

There are a number of breakfast and brunch restaurants scattered around San Francisco, but none quite compare to the sweet and savory options of Griddle Fresh. As a newcomer to any city would know, the restaurants with the longest lines are the ones to try. At Griddle Fresh, there’s a bit of a wait in the morning on weekends. From its crispy, thin hash browns to the light-as-a-cloud soufflé pancakes, Griddle Fresh brings to the table a fresh new take on the traditional breakfast scene.

Fattoush

As for the restaurants in San Francisco that cater to vegetarians and veggie lovers, the list goes on and on. At the top of the list is Fattoush, a Middle Eastern restaurant open from morning to the late hours of the night. With beautiful presentations and dishes that cannot be had anywhere else, Fattoush will not disappoint. For those looking for more than just a normal dining experience, this restaurant, with its friendly staff and casual ambiance, is much more than the normal soup and salad vegetarian restaurant.

Lovejoy’s Tea Room

In the middle of a city full of crowded restaurants and noisy bars, Lovejoy’s Tea Room provides a peaceful and classy atmosphere, with charming decor and decorated china. The extensive menus include scones and crumpets, quiches and sandwiches. Whether you’re in for a light snack or the Queen’s Tea, Lovejoy’s Tea Room has options for everyone. A family friendly restaurant, Lovejoy’s welcomes both children and adults to dress up for a day.

Pomelo

Offering food from the other side of the world is Pomelo, an Asian fusion restaurant. A unique combination of Japanese, Filipino, French and much more, Pomelo’s daring menu takes the best of many different cultures and makes something entirely different but just as delicious. The hearty servings and short wait time make Pomelo a perfect place to stop after some early morning exercise or before a long day.

Saru Sushi

Tucked away in Noe Valley is a small, dimly lit restaurant with the freshest sashimi around. With a modern, minimalist vibe, Saru Sushi brings out the most complex flavors in the simplest foods. The restaurant’s tasting menu allows its customers to try smaller servings of fresh fish prepared in unique ways. The thick, precisely cut slices of fish served in Saru’s sushi and sashimi samplers are unlike any other.
