Just down the street from Tex Wasabi’s is Russian River, a local brewery that is a regular spot for most locals. They host live bands and have a full menu as well as an ever-growing selection of beer. If it’s your first time visiting, it’s recommended you go for the beer sampler. There are plenty of televisions around for sports-lovers, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it a ideal spot to go to with friends to catch a game. They have an amazing happy hour, and their sliders are worth a try too. There’s also plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors, and a pool table upstairs.

Located in the middle of Santa Rosa, Fogbelt Brewing Company is almost hidden. Their beers steal the show, and they offer a sampler for first time visitors. Each beer is named after a Coast Redwood tree, so they’re easy to remember. It can get crowded in the evening, especially on their Trivia nights, but the servers make sure to keep all their customers happy.
