It seems America has an awful lot to say about the world.

America the great. America the bold. Having mapped the likes of Europe, Asia and Oceania, Bulgarian map maestro Yanko Tsvetkov decided it was finally time to create a little piece of cartography dedicated to the ‘land of the free’.

The eye opening, albeit hilarious map separates the ‘fur trappers’ from ‘the commies’, and ‘the land of no pubes’ from the ‘kangaroo riders’ – and yes, it’s very serious.

After his maps first went viral on Flickr, Tsvetkov took his project further by writing two books – Atlas of Prejudice, Volumes 1 and 2 which reveal ‘new fascinating landscapes of human bigotry’.
