Google Trends recently released a cool map of America’s most commonly misspelled words, based on the top ‘how to spell’ search entries by each US state in 2017, so far.
As you can see, the results below are not just surprising, but also a little soul-crushing too.
Google released the results in the run up to national #Spellingbee week, and what better way to announce them than via a tweet.
Hilariously, when Google first released the tweet (above) it include a typo. What did they misspell? The word ‘ninety’, which was swiftly corrected after Twitter users gave the search engine giant a social media bashing for the error.
We forgive your little mistake Google.
