We all love a good map on the wall and we all have a favourite song – if only there was such a piece of cartography that combined both. Oh wait! There is.

Thanks to the wonderfully creative gurus at Dorothy, you can now hang a World Song Map up in your house.

Designed after a vintage 1950s wall map, the World Song Map is a follow up to their hugely successful London Song Map, which illustrated some of the British capital’s finest hits.

The details are quite literally out of this world. Each continent, country, ocean, city and even landmark (yes, landmarks) are named after everything From Frank Sinatra’s ‘New York, New York’ to David Bowie’s ‘Ziggy Stardust’.

If that’s not impressive enough, the cool thing illustrates over 1,000 songs, each with an A–Z key listing (that massive chunk of black you see at the bottom of the map) of all the tunes that make up this elaborate imaginary musical world.

Let’s take a closer look.
