From the food to the sawasdee ka welcome as you enter the restaurant, Royal Jasmine Thai brings a traditional taste of Thailand to the Phoenix suburbs. The interior is light and semi-luxurious, with elements of the restaurant’s homeland punctuating the decor. The menu covers all of the Thai favorites, and then some. There is a wide range of appetizers to choose from, with the wontons, posttickers and rangoon all highly recommended. The choice of salads, soups, curries, noodle dishes and entrees – with either steamed, brown or sticky rice – may be quite overwhelming at first glance, but the staff is always happy to give recommendations. A spicy and satisfying experience time and time again.
Saddle Mountain is a brewery offering tours of their 15 barrel brew house. They take as much care and interest in their food as in their brewing. All of their menu items come with a recommended beer pairing: the drinks certainly bring extra depth to the dishes. Sophisticated pub grub.
