Mexico City‘s San Angel offers many wonderful tourist attractions, including a Saturday Bazaar and beautiful churches. However, restaurants are also well-known in this area, so why not start the day off at one of these brunch spots, which offer up some of the best breakfast and brunch fare in town.

1. San Angel Inn

Dating back to the 17th century, the hacienda in which San Angel Inn is located has been celebrated for its beauty for years. Before becoming the successful restaurant that it is today, San Angel Inn had multiple purposes. At one time it was a monastery, then it became a center to produce pulque (an alcoholic beverage made from cacti) and finally it became a hotel with a restaurant. Since this typically Mexican restaurant is so popular, it is advisable to make reservations, even for breakfast, where there is an excellent menu including all types of eggs, Mexican delicacies, and delectable baked goods.
