Quebec City has a wide array of world-class restaurants, catering to different palates and preferences. Although the city is not known for its vegan and vegetarian options, here are some restaurants that you can head to if you’re feeling the need for a healthy meal.

Le Soixante 5

Le Soixante 5 has been referred to as the only true vegan and vegetarian restaurant in the vicinity of Quebec City, though the city’s options have been expanding in recent years. The restaurant is located in Levis, which is across from Quebec City via ferry. There are lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus.

Les Gourmandises Louca

Les Gourmandises Louca holds the status of being the first vegan bakery in Quebec City. At this zero-waste restaurant and deli, you can find hot meals along with sandwiches, pastries and cookies, and there is also an internal store that sells organic bulk products, organic veggies, groceries and other products.

Qui Lu Crü

Qui Lu Cru serves “living cuisine,” with different daily menus that are based on healthy and natural foods (vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc.) that are prepared raw in order to preserve all the nutritional qualities. All dishes are vegan, and there are also juices and smoothies available.
