Montreal has its own Gay Village, where all of the best LGBT bars have found their home. Everyone is welcome, the drinks are great and the music has rhythm, so go out for a night of laughs or dancing and enjoy these colorful hotspots.



With an emphasis on lightning and image projections,CODE is a thrilling place to spend the night. The club is open from 10pm-3am Tuesday-Saturday, with a rotating list of DJs so each night is different from the night before. CODE also has ladies’ and student nights as well as special events, like their “Gaymer Night,” a night devoted to video games complete with prizes.

Cabaret Mado

Nightly shows by fabulous drag queens and special guests makes for a very colorful and vibrant night at an equally colorful location. In between shows, guests can spend the time dancing and enjoying the drinks with their party, or meet someone new. Cabaret Mado is open from 4pm-3am, Tuesday-Sunday.

Bar Le Stud

Opening at 10am and staying that way until 3am, Bar Le Stud is the ideal spot to relax and meet that new, hot guy; this bar caters exclusively to men. The bar is casual, with the occasional pool tournament, and different music each night to ensure that everyone has a chance to listen to something they like.

Set in an old garage, Alexandraplatz has a post-industrial vibe. Guests can enjoy their evening with delicious cocktails, beers and ciders at one of the picnic benches available and dance to the music under many hanging lanterns. This bar is open in the summer from 4-12pm Monday to Tuesday, 4pm-1am Thursdays and Fridays, 3pm-1am Saturdays and 3pm-12am on Sundays.


Open from 3pm-3am Monday to Friday and from 1pm-3am on the weekends, Campus features a variety of dancers at different times of the day. They also have a ladies night from 9pm-3am on Sundays, but gentlemen are still welcome.
